About Us
One couple, seven acres, vegetables with a destiny.
Olson Farm was founded in 2012 by Anders “Farmer Andy” Olson. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Conservation and Resource Studies, Anders was eager to get his hands in the dirt and grow some veggies. He found land to lease in Sonoma County, just north of Petaluma, and has been farming there ever since. In 2017 he met his future wife, Marisa “Minnie” Olson, who began working at the farm in 2018. These days, Anders handles 99% of the farming while Marisa balances her job at an Oakland nonprofit with farm administration.

It is our priority to grow delicious, nutritious food that is accessible to the members of our Bay Area community. We utilize multi-faceted and innovative conservation methods to promote sustainability and are always chemical-free. Improving soil health and carbon sequestration are key components of our farming mission.
